Powerful Pitching Performance From Tyler Carries Reds 8U Past Technique Tigers Orange

Tyler P was dominant on the mound, as the starting pitcher rang up 10 strikeouts in Reds 8U's 10-0 victory over Technique Tigers Orange on Sunday at Cheshire Reds. He allowed one hit and zero runs over four innings while walking none.

The Reds 8U jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Luke F doubled, scoring one run, Tyler P singled, scoring one run, Liam S singled, scoring one run, and Nick M singled, scoring two runs.

The Reds 8U scored five runs on three hits in the bottom of the second inning. Gio B drew a walk, scoring one run, Luke F singled, scoring two runs, Tyler P singled, scoring one run, and an error scored one run.

Reds 8U accumulated 10 hits in the game. Luke F and Tyler P were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Reds 8U while hitting back-to-back. Grant S, Dom G, and Antonio F each stole multiple bases for Reds 8U. The Reds ran wild on the base paths, accumulating eight stolen bases for the game.

Reds 8U were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Luke F made the most plays with six.

Reds 8U Defeat Technique Tigers Orange On Multiple Hit Performance By Tyler

Tyler P collected three hits in three at bats, as Reds 8U defeated Technique Tigers Orange 10-6 on Sunday at Cheshire Reds. Tyler P singled in the third inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the first inning.

Reds 8U took the lead in the top of the third inning after Luke F grounded out, Tyler P singled, and Liam S walked, each scoring one run.

The Reds scored five runs on five hits in the top of the fourth inning. Gio B singled, scoring one run, Emelio P drew a walk, scoring one run, Dom G doubled, scoring one run, an error scored one run, and Tyler P singled, scoring one run.

Dom G stepped on the hill first for Reds 8U. He gave up one hit and two runs (one earned) over three innings, striking out six and walking three. Luke F and Bryce P each appeared in relief for Reds 8U.

Reds 8U had patience at the plate, accumulating eight walks for the game. Liam S, Bryce P, and Emelio P led the team with two bases on balls each. Tyler P and Bryce P each stole multiple bases for Reds 8U. Reds 8U ran wild on the base paths, amassing 10 stolen bases for the game. Reds 8U turned one double play in the game.

The Technique Tigers worked the count all day, tallying nine walks. They also ran wild on the base paths, accumulating six stolen bases for the game.
