The Cheshire Reds are spending the summer competing in the Nutmeg State Youth Baseball League (NSYBL), facing programs from across Connecticut in a full season of travel baseball. Our goal each year is to provide our athletes with the best opportunities to develop their skills, play against strong opponents, and enjoy the game at a high level.
This is the first season for the NSYBL, and it has given our players a steady rhythm of competitive games and a chance to test themselves against older opponents every week. The league schedule has taken us to different towns around the state and has been a great measuring stick for our roster.
Playoffs begin this weekend, and our focus is on clean execution and keeping the same energy we’ve built all season. Regardless of results, this group has already shown what Reds baseball is about: preparation, effort, and playing together.
