Reds 8U were victorious against Wolcott Eagles 8U 2024 11-8 on Sunday at Cheshire Reds.

Reds 8U opened the scoring in the bottom of the second thanks to three singles. Reds 8U first got on the board when Oliver T singled, scoring one run.

Reds 8U scored five runs on five hits in the bottom of the third inning. Tyler P singled, scoring two runs, Luke F singled, scoring one run, Dom G grounded out, scoring one run, and Nick M singled, scoring one run.

Wolcott Eagles 8U 2024 scored five runs on one hit in the top of the fourth inning. An error scored two runs, James J singled, scoring one run, Luca R drew a walk, scoring one run, and Robert D drew a walk, scoring one run.

Both Reds 8U and Wolcott Eagles 8U 2024 had their offenses going on Sunday at Cheshire Reds, but Reds 8U eventually prevailed 15-10. Reds 8U collected 13 hits, while Wolcott Eagles 8U 2024 had 10.

Reds 8U opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to three singles. Reds 8U first got on the board when Tyler P singled, scoring one run.

A line out by Oliver T extended the Reds 8U lead to 4-2 in the top of the second inning.

Wolcott Eagles 8U 2024 tied the game in the bottom of the second thanks to a walk by Chase C, and a steal of home by Robert D.

In the top of the third, Reds 8U broke up the tie when Liam S grounded out, scoring two runs. Then a ground out by Emelio P followed to extend the lead to 7-4.
