Reds Schedule: 8U Lose To Smash Factory 8U

Smash Factory 8U got on the board in the top of the third inning after Lucas walked, Jesse G was struck by a pitch, Noah C grounded out, Nate G singled, and Ethan grounded out, each scoring one run.

Luke F pitched three innings in relief for Reds 8U. The right-handed pitcher surrendered one hit and one run (zero earned) while, striking out two and walking three. Tyler P took the loss for Reds 8U. The right-handed pitcher went two and two-thirds innings, surrendering five runs on three hits, striking out five and walking three. Noah C stepped on the bump first for Smash Factory 8U. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and three runs (two earned) over three and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking five.

Antonio F led Reds 8U with one run batted in. The second baseman went 2-for-2 on the day. Reds 8U turned one double play in the game.

Noah C provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Smash Factory 8U with two runs batted in. Nate G led Smash Factory 8U with two hits in three at bats. Smash Factory 8U had patience at the plate, tallying six walks for the game. Cal O and Leo led the team with two free passes each. Finn M stole two bases.
